Quality woodware made with passion and care
Welcome to Bradgate Woodcraft - we hope you enjoy looking at our range of handcrafted British hardwood products and choosing something either as a truly unique 'one of a kind' gift for a birthday or wedding or simply as a treat for yourself!
Our business began in 2010 and we have been growing steadily since, so much so we recently moved into our new bigger workshop ~ a beautiful old barn more than 200 years old previously used for keeping cattle!
Most of our products are made from British hardwoods such as Oak, Ash and Beech all, wherever possible, located from sources such as windfalls, storm damaged trees and recycled and reclaimed wood ethically forested from reputable suppliers.
We make a lot of our products to your specific requirements, so please feel free to contact us if you have something particular in mind. Perhaps a particular sized chopping board in a choice of wood, or one of our unique knife blocks made to measure to fit your own set of knifes ~ just ask!
Nestled in the heart of the Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire - a stone's throw from the beautiful Bradgate Park, Bradgate Woodcraft produces a wide variety of individual handcrafted products, each piece unique and one of a kind.
Master craftsman Andy Elphick lovingly handcrafts each piece, so no two products are exactly the same. All are, wherever possible, located from sources such as windfalls, storm damaged trees and recycled and reclaimed wood ethically forested from reputable suppliers.
A celebrated chef from the BBC’s Great British Menu came across our boards at a food festival and commissioned us (for 2 years running!) to supply bespoke serving boards designed for use in the competition.
We hope you enjoy using your boards as much as we do making them!
